Overall I'd say that if simple to do lists don't do it for you, Task Coach probably has the power and flexibility to get it done. Nothing can be "all things to all people." There are lots and lots of options, which to me is a good thing, but could be overwhelming. Still, we strongly advise you to make backups of your work on a regular basis, and especially before upgrading. We do our best to prevent bugs and fix them as soon as possible. This means that Task Coach contains bugs. New features are added on a regular basis. Warning Task Coach is actively developed.
